Projects will be judged on design, originality and Whimseybox fitness (the ability for a project to be made into a kit that can be packaged and shipped to a customer).
Additional Information: Use your creativity! We love unusual materials and original ideas, but it’s good to keep in mind that we’ll need to be able to get a lot of them to turn your project into a kit, so one-of-a-kind/heirloom/highly valuable items aren’t a good fit for a Whimseybox DIY kit. Also, very large items (such as furniture) or hazardous items (such as spray paint) cannot be easily shipped so consider that as well.
