With all of the parties coming up for the holidays, making a few of these ink effects table linens will surely make you the guest of the year.. or at least the month. In case you happen to be the host, you can always commission a few helpers to power out custom linens to make for the cutest dinner party ever.
- Ink effects ink
- Foam brush
- Blank white paper (or any light color) the same size as your linens
- Fabric linens
- Twine (optional)
Paint your design onto the blank paper with the ink effects ink (we made one polka dot and one striped design). You can use the same design for your iron transfer up to three different times, so two painted sheets will give you a set of six linens (three of each pattern). Once your designs have dried, iron them onto your fabric, keeping the iron moving for at least 30 seconds. You can check periodically that your reaching your desired saturation.
Once your done ironing, fold the linens in half and roll them up, tying them with twine and you’re ready to serve!Whimseybox Projects
