Bored of the traditional wrapping paper and gift bags this holiday? I am, so I went on a little challenge at my local office supply warehouse looking for creative ways to wrap gifts using stationery supplies. (Really, any excuse to wander every aisle admiring pens and organizing supplies sounds like a good time to me!) Here’s what I found:
Stencils + stars: Give someone a gold star this holiday season by decorating plain paper with metallic star stickers. You can find plain white and kraft brown paper rolls at any office supply warehouse, and the gold stars are usually in the area where teacher supplies are located. Instead of a gift tag, use a stencil.
Add a bright pop of color (and a challenge!) to plain kraft wrapping with a bunch of giant colored rubber bands. (But be ready for the rubber band fight that is sure to ensue right after opening!)
Use silver round labels polka dot pattern and gold seals as gift tags.
And this one, seen earlier in Ashley’s post, is one of my favorites. Create a 3-dimensional studded pattern with brass brads.
Hope we’ve inspired you to creatively about your holiday wrapping this season!
