Washi Slap Bracelets

 

Looking for a super-fast, super-fun way to decorate the slap bracelet from your January 2012 box? Try washi tape!

Start with a fun variety of washi tape – thick and thin, patterned and solid. If you can’t find any at a store near you, search on Etsy under ‘Supplies’ and you’re sure to find plenty of options.

Wrap the tape around the bracelet and keep adding layers until you’re happy with the pattern.

We love the translucency of washi tape and how you can see what’s underneath. These bright colors give the bracelet it a bold, graphic look.

    The bracelets actually came in a Whimseybox. If you Google around you may be able to find some ‘blank’ slap bracelets!
